Order Vista Instructions
IF YOU ARE NOT AN ADMINISTRATOR ON
YOUR COMPUTER YOU CAN NOT PERFORM THE FOLLOWING STEPS. YOU MUST LOCATE YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
BEFORE PROCEEDING.
There are 2 Options you can take. For users that already have Java installed on their computer, you can skip ahead to option 3.
Step 1: Option 1
Click on the following link http://ias.flanagan.ca/jinitiator/jre-1_5_0_10-windows-i586-p-iftw.exe
Click Run, If only prompted to click run once, proceed to next step otherwise click Run again
J2SE Runtime Environment should now be started, select the Typical Setup radio button and click Accept
Uncheck Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer, and click Next (The files will now begin installing)
Uncheck the Launch Internet
Explorer box and click Finish
Proceed to Step 2, NOT Option 2
Step 1: Option 2
Return to the Flanagan Web Order website either by opening the window if you
have it open or by clicking on the following link http://www.flanagan.ca/order
The top of your screen should now look similar to the one above, click on the bar and select Install ActiveX Control…
You will be prompted to continue, click Continue
You will then be prompted to begin installing Java Runtime, click Install
This will bring up an installation window for Java Runtime, select Typical Setup and click Accept
The install will now begin,
once completed click Finish.
You will now receive 3
identical errors alike the one shown below
Click OK three times, or until
this box no longer appears, select Cancel on the web order sign on screen.
Proceed to Step 2

Click on the Start Menu and
select Computer
Browse to Local Disk (C:), then Program Files
Right-click on the Java Folder and select Properties
Select the Security Tab
Select the Edit button
You will then be prompted to continue, Click Continue
Select the Users Group from the Group or user names: list, as shown above and check the Modify Permission under the allow column
Click OK, your computer will now set these permissions, then click OK once more.
After completing these steps you
should now be able to access web order on your Windows
